Hello! I’m Gayle - I’ve been a wife for 17 years, a mom for 13 years, and a photographer for 14 years. I love people, and being a photographer has brought so many wonderful people into my life, many of whom have become good friends! My incredible husband and kids (and German Shorthaired Pointer) are my world, and I love travel, bright colors, eating chocolate, "Friends” Reruns, podcasts, working out, admiring colorful art, hiking, shopping, and mid century modern art and design. I’m an Enneagram 9, and an ENFP. When I’m not behind my camera, you can find me cheering on my kids at their sporting events, hiking with friends, walking my dog, or, let’s face it, doing laundry.
When studying in France in college, I was disappointed that I didn’t understand how to use my camera and take good photos. Fast forward a few years, and I was able to enroll at the Art Institute of Colorado to study photography. I graduated in 2004, and started miss g photography. I started out photographing mostly weddings, but as I had my own kids, I ended up photographing mostly families, kids, and babies. Over the past few years, I have also added in high school seniors to my client list, and I’ve loved every minute of it! No matter which type of shoot I’ve done, I’ve always put my all into it, and my love for people has helped me connect with and bring out the best in my clients. I would love to do the same for you!
• Is someone that is confident in what they do but knows to not take life too seriously.
• Enjoys dining out but also loves being home in pajamas with popcorn and a movie.
• Believes in the idea of quality over quantity.
• Doesn’t mind random silliness from me to make them all laugh.
A low-key casual, fun vibe from me.
Some posing (I promise not to make it stuffy and lame), complete with impromptu conversations, while capturing the confidence and beauty that is you.
Our time together will have:
1. A no stress zone!
2. Random goofiness from me, and maybe a little singing.
3. me saying the phrase, “Oh my gosh, you guys are amazing…” and other exclamations about how amazing you/your child/your family is.
